Re: Goose massacre this weekend? (2/27 - 28)

The afternoon that Brent was busy with his wheel bearing I hooked up with some guys from East TN and we put the smackdown on 126. No bands believe it or not!!.........or at least none that I was privy to. Unfortunately Sky was the only dog there and he and I spent 1.5 hours picking up cripples while...

Re: Snow Goose Hunt

Brent will be coming over Thursday and staying through Saturday at least. Me, Joe, Brent, and Eddie will be doing what we can to keep the snow goose population down :x . If the hunting is decent and the snows are still around he may stay til sunday. Brent wanted me to let everyone know that if any o...

Snow Goose Hunt (w/pix) (2/20 - 21)

I am going to head over Thursday morning to reak havoc on the snow goose population. I will be scouting and possibly killing snows Thursday afternoon. If we can find a good spot I am seriously thinking about setting up and trying to decoy 'em Friday morning. I know Eddie is planning on partaking so ...

Re: Starting to think

I'm not sure color/pattern matter much to frost-dick..........I think the only stuff he doesn't like to steal is the shit he already owns.

Re: Starting to think

From the looks of your Avatar you've from eating fried pies to protein shakes and riding bareback......I guess I'll see you more staying at the clubhouse this season.

Re: Its a boy

With all due respect we probably shouldn't do anything that will detract from Richie's kids ability to communicate!.....For gods sakes don't you think they have a hard enough time as it is? The last thing his wife needs is for one to come out thinking he's a duck!

Re: Conservation at its finest!

There almost had to be an increase in the last 3 years. You remember how shocked we were when we killed that Snow with the collar band? Up until the last few years you almost never ran into people with Snow bands.

Re: Conservation at its finest!

As of 2004, approximately 60 million birds have been banded across the United States and Canada under the North American Banding Program. About 4 million of these bands have been recovered. On average, about 1.1 million birds are banded every year. Game birds make up only 31% of birds banded, bu...

Re: '08 - '09 Recap

Brent, I think you pretty well have it covered. For memorable hunts I do have to add in the 16 degree, windy morning at the peabody that Me, Mike Sr. and Tittle had when no one else wanted to hunt. We smacked em good by around 9:00 and had a hell of a time doing it. The funniest thing though was...
